Here’s our pride and joy, and our namesake.  Zephyr started out his career by going Winners Dog at the 1999 Akita Nationals, at the young age of 9 ½ months.  Zephyr continued by winning five Akita Specialties to include winning the RMAC Specialty three years in a row and retiring the trophy.  He’s won Best of Breed / Best Bred By at the Eukanuba Championship two years in a row, and winning a Group 2 Bred By placement.

He’s been invited to the ACA Top 20, four year running.  Oh ya, he’s also won a Best in Show in the process, and received his ROM from limited breeding.  To say we our proud of this boy would be an understatement.

July 2006; After a 18 month hiatus from the show ring, and at the tender age of 7 ½ years of age, our little "Baby Bear" won a Group 2 over several nationally top ranked dogs at the Eagle, CO shows.
